WESTVILLE -- Norman Lipke, 84, of Westville, died Thursday, May 18, 1995, at home.
He was born Nov. 12, 1910, in Vesper, Wis., the son of William J. and Mae (Zahora) Lipke.
He was a farmer.
On Feb. 10, 1934, in Valparaiso, he married Marie D. Carpenter, who preceded him in death Aug. 14, 1992.
Surviving are a son, William G. Lipke of Flagstaff, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Bennett Lipke of Knox. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia M. Powers.
Services 3 p.m. Saturday at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Valparaiso; the Rev. Dean A. Christianson officiating; burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Valparaiso; visitation 1 -3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home; in lieu of flowers, memorials to the Salvation Army.
