WESTVILLE -- Marie D. Lipke, 79, of Westville, died Friday, Aug. 14, 1992, at Porter Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 17, 1913, in Wheeler, daughter of George and Dorothy (Reichert) Carpenter. She was a member of the Center Township Womens Club and Farm Bureau.
On Feb. 10, 1934, she married Norman Lipke, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia M. Powers of Valparaiso; a son, William G. of Arizona; a brother, Leslie Carpenter of South Haven; a sister, Gertrude Magnuson of California; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bartholomew Funeral Home; the Rev. Dean A. Christianson officiating; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery; visitation 5 - 7:30 p.m. Monday and 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday; memorials to the Heart Foundation.
