MRS. WILLIAM J. LIPKE
Mrs. William J. (Mae Sylvia) Lipke, 79, RFD 6, died this morning.
Born Dec. 31, 1888 at Chicago, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Zahora, she was married in Vesper, Wis., Oct. 13, 1909 to William J. Lipke, who preceded her in death on April 18, 1960.
She was a Valparaiso area resident for 50 years, coming from Vesper, and a 50-year member of Royal Neighbors and a charter member of the Northwest Center Community club.
Surviving are two sons, Norman J., Valparaiso, and Bennett R., Knox; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Russell, one daughter, Mrs. Garnet St. Clair, one granddaughter, two grandsons and two brothers.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Bartholomew Funeral home with the Rev. L. E. Myers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
