Vienna - Mrs Christine Garman, 79, of 1111 Youngstown-Kingsville Rd, was pronounced dead of a heart ailment Thursday evening in Trumbull Memorial Hospital after being stricken at her home.
Mrs Garman was born July 31, 1905 in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Christine Sitterlie Schink. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard, and Saxon Lodge 1120 in Niles. Her husband, Dallas S, whom she married May 25, 1929, died April 27, 1984.
She leaves a son, Richard D of Poland; two brothers, John Schink of Girard and Karl Schink of Union, MO; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11am Monday at the Blackstone Funeral Home, Church Hill Road, Girard, where family and friends may call from 7 to 9pm Saturday and Sunday. The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the church.
