Mr. Befort was a longtime Salina resident and a member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral parish.
Survivors included a brother, Edward J. Befort, and three sisters, Geraldine "Geri" Sprout, Helen Daly and Patricia Morgan. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Walter and Francis Befort.
