Lillian M. Weber, age 87, of Hays, KS, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Locust Grove Village in LaCrosse.

She was born June 20, 1931 in Pfeifer, KS to George and Margaret (Meier) Degenhardt.

On June 19, 1954, she married Edwin Weber in LaCrosse, KS. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2018. Together, they shared 64 years of marriage.

She and Edwin made Bison, KS there home for 40 plus years. She was a member of St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church in Hays. Lillian enjoyed playing bingo, cards, fishing, gardening, making noodles and most importantly, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters; Sharon Younger and her husband Daniel and Nancy Urban and her husband Steve all of Hays; brother, Leroy Degenhardt and his wife Marilyn of Great Bend; sister-in-law, Angel Degenhardt of Hoisington; four grandchildren; Jennifer Gilliam and her husband J.D., James Younger, Rebecca Urban and Adam Urban as well as two step-great grandchildren, Corbin and Ava Gilliam.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin; infant daughter, Janice Weber; brother, Don Degenhardt and infant brother, Harold Degenhardt.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, 2901 E. 13th Street, Hays. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Hays. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. at Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 2509 Vine St., Hays, KS 67601 and on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church. A combined rosary and parish vigil service will be Wednesday at 6:30 PM at the funeral chapel. Arrangements are made by Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 2509 Vine St., Hays, KS 67601.
