Miles S. Wilson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Wilson, of West Front Street, died Tuesday morning, November 5, 1918, in the twenty-ninth year of his age, after one week's illness of pneumonia following influenza. The epidemic proved fatal last week to his sister-in-law, Mrs. William F. Wilson and now another sister-in-law, Mrs. John A. Wilson is seriously ill of the same disease. Deep sympathy is felt for the family, all of whom are widely known in the city and highly respected.
Mr. Wilson was born here and was a member of St. Mary's Church and of Watchung Council, Knights of Columbus. At one time he conducted a grocery business on West Front Street, but recently he had been associated with his faher in the grocery concern on West Front Street near Clinton Avenue.
Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, who was formery Miss Ella V. Lapin; three children, Miles, Jr., Marie and Rita, the latter a little child of eleven months; four brothers, William F. of this city; Walter, who is in the service and now in England; John A. and Leo, who is in the national service, and one sister, Miss Mary Wilson.
The funeral will be held tomorrow morning, November 8th, in St. Mary's Church Pall bearers: Leo Wilson, Thomas Lappin, David B. Doyle, George Taylor, Matin O'Loughlin and M.J. McGinley. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
