William W. Wilson died at his home, 214 Grant Avenue, late yesterday afternoon, May 9, 1926, after a long illness. He was a well known West End resident and business man, and served several terms as member of the council. He was a resident of Plainfield for thirty-nine years and was engaged in the grocery and butcher business during that time, operating two stores in the West End. He was a member of St. Mary's Church.

He leaves, besides his wife, Mrs. Catherine Garrigan Wilson, the following children: Walter W., John A., Mary P., and Leo A., and eleven grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the late home on Wednesday morning, May 12th, at 8:30 o'clock, and from St. Mary's Church at 9 o'clock, where a high Mass of requiem will be offered for the repose of his soul. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
