Gabreal Zimmerman died unexpectedly today at his home at 201 East 11th St. He was 74. A retired oil field worker, he lived his life in Ellis County.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The St. Joseph's Altar Sociey will say a rosary at 8 p.m. Saturday at Brock's North Hill Chapel. Friends may call at Brock's from 7 p.m. today until service time.
Survivors include the widow, Anna Marie; three sons, William, Denver; G. J. and R. J., both of Hays; a daughter, Mrs. William (Mildred) Dreiling, Hays; 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Joe Rebel, Ness City, Mrs. Jake Urban and Mrs. Bill Lambrecht, both of Colorado Springs, Mrs. Otto Werth, Schoenchen, Mrs. Rudy Werth, California.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Cora Arnold of Colorado Springs, last year.
