Joseph Lee "Joe" Heilman, 61, of Yakima died Thursday.

Mr. Heilman was born in Toppenish. He worked over 20 years in the grocery business and was a store manager for Safeway.

Survivors include his wife, Donelda Heilman of Yakima; three sons, Joe Heilman of Tokyo, Japan, Matt Heilman of Spokane and Jared Heilman of Kelso, Wash.; two daughters, Lisa Leach of Moxee and Jennifer Smith of Laurel, Md.; his mother, Mary Heilman of Yakima; a brother, Mike Brown of Camano Island; 10 grandchildren.

Viewing is today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel.

Keith and Keith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
