Ella C. Schlei, 89, St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc, formerly of Brillion, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 1989 at the nursing home. The daughter of the late Frank and Francis (Pritzl) Kleiber was born Jan. 14, 1900 in Brillion. She married William Schlei in Brillion.
Mrs. Schlei worked in the lumber company for several years and was then a librarian for the City of Brillion for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Mabel Kleiber, New Holstein; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Wilbert Kleiber and Margaret Schlei, both of Manitowoc.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963, one sister and two brothers.
Friends may call at the Wieting-Schneider Funeral Home, Brillion, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday when family rites will be held. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion, with the Rev. John Neuser officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery
