Miss Rosa Oyster Dies At 60
Father, George M. Oyster, Survives Her at the Age of 89
Miss Mary Rosa Oyster, 60 years old, member of a well known Washington family died yesterday at her home, 212 East Capitol Street. She was born in the house in which she died and had lived there throughout her life.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Church this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment, which will be private, will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Miss Oyster was the daughter of George M. Oyster Sr., who survives her at the age of 89 years. She was associated with many charitable associations and activities of the District.
Surviving Miss Oyster, in addition to her father are three brothers, George M. Oyster Jr., James F. Oyster and D. William Oyster and two sisters, Mrs. Albert Schulteis and Mrs. J.B. Rutherford.
