His name is also remebered for the case of judicial persecution of which he was unjustly victim and that also led him to a political commitment at the forefront in the Radical Party. The case called Case Tortora, saw Enzo Tortora heavily accused of being a member of the Camorra and drug dealer, later it was discovered that the accusations about him were all unfounded and therefore false.
