Liberal politician and military. He is the greatest figure of the "Risorgimento", and one of the principal architects of the Italy unification. He was appointed Count of Cavour, of Isolabella and of Leri, but it is popularly named "Cavour". He was featured on the 2010 Italian Commemorative 2 Euro Coin.

Camillo Benso, Count of Cavour - Portrait (10 August 1810 – 6 June 1861), generally known as Cavour - Italian statesman and a leading figure in the movement towards Italian unification. Camillo Benso was born in Turin during Napoleonic rule.
