Elizabeth Helen Kioberdanz, 83, of Sterling died Monday, July 7, 1997, in Sterling.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, at Tennant Funeral Home, with a vigil and rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony's Church, with burial at Riverside Cemetery.
Memorial may be made to St. Anthony's School or St. Anthony's Church.
Kloberdanz was born December 11, 1913, to John and Margaret (Dillie) Sewald in Sterling, where she grew up and attended school.
She married John Klober danz January 16, 1934, in Sterling. They farmed north of Sterling until 1976, when they moved to Sterling, residing here since.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Church, the Legion of Mary, St. Margaret's Circle of the Alter and Rosary Society, the Catholic Family Move ment (C.F.M.), A.H.S.G.R. (Germans from Russia) and a 43-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by sons, Jerry and Stan Kloberdanz of Sterling, and Tim Kloberdanz of Fargo, N.D.; sisters Ann Bauer of Longmont and Margaret Sewald of Wheat Ridge; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1987 and a son, John in 1982.
