Maria Pini and her husband Luigi Succi were recognized as Righteous Among the Nations in 2013 for helping to hide a family of Italian Jews, the Neppis, from Nazi roundups during World War II.

She was the daughter of Delfino Pini and Maddalena Cortesi. She married Luigi Succi on 13 June 1912 in Pavullo nel Frignano.
