Military Figure. Infantry officer in the First World War, decorated with a gold medal for military valor. Student of the Nazareno College, belonging to the Cngei (Corpo Nazionale Giovani Esploratori Italiani) and then of the Officers' School, he was called to arms at a very young age; one of the boys of '99, after the defeat of Caporetto, were the last enlisted in World War I. Second lieutenant in the infantry of the 240th regiment (Pesaro brigade), in command of his platoon, he was killed during an action on Mount Pertica, a group of Mount Grappa, a few days before the end of the conflict. In 1921, he was awarded the gold medal for military valor. Cadlolo, who died about two months after his nineteenth birthday, was one of the youngest "gold medals" of the great war.
