Mrs. Anna "Jincie" Olliff, age 88, died Tuesday at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility.
She was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County and graduated from Brooklet High School. Soon after graduating, she married Thomas Lamar Olliff and started a family. Jincie was not only a caring mother, but was also a dedicated worker. She worked for Collins Frozen Foods and also ITT before retiring in the 80's. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and most of all, loved her large family gatherings. Jincie was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Sula Kennedy, her husband, Thomas Lamar Olliff, all of her siblings, and four children, David Olliff, Terrell Olliff, DeRita Smith and Thomas Lamar Olliff, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Jincie Delores (Carey) Taylor, Renaee (Jerry) Rushing, Cindy (Breck) Harville, Greg (Tonya) Olliff, Karen O. (Michael) Iler, Phil Olliff and Kevin Olliff, all of Statesboro; her grandchildren, Courtney Taylor, Haley Rushing, Heather Powell, Chad Olliff, Jamie Harville, Shae O. Deal, Kane Michael Bustle, Gordon Olliff, Josh Iler, Lindsey Iler, Landon Olliff, Sherry Smith Purvis and Angie Smith Walker; 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, her lifelong friend, Earnestine Peavy and her beloved pet, Sugar.
The family will receive visitors Friday from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00am, in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Osbourne officiating.
Interment will be at Eastside Cemetery following the service.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
