Christopher Morris Brandon, Sr., 78, of Atlanta, Georgia, died unexpectedly on February 13, 1940 of a heart ailment. He was a native of Dover, Tennessee. He graduated from Vanderbilt University, and then from Yale Law School. He began his career as a lawyer in Atlanta in 1886. At the time of his death he was associated with the firm of Brandon, Hynds, and Tindall. Previously he was a law partner of Preston S. Arkwright. He belonged to the Capital City and Piedmont Driving Club, the American Bar Association, the Georgia and Atlanta Bar Association, the Atlanta Lawyers' Club, and the Phi Delta Theta social fraternity. He was a Shriner. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Morris, Jr., Inman, and Nathan; and three grandchildren. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. at the residence, 550 West Pace's Ferry Road.
