One of the oldest natives of the village, [she] doted on recounting its past always with a touch of good humor. When asked in 1949 as a member of the Study Club to prepare a paper on bygone days in the village (her) paper was so complete the Study Club had it printed in a book form and under the title, "In the Long, Long Ago" this book was sold throughout the Western New York area.
