British Actor. Best remembered as respected doctor Philip Martel in the Channel Islands wartime drama "Enemy at the Door", which ran for 26 episodes between 1978 and 1980. He debuted in 1968 in the film "The Mind Robber" in the role of Lemuel Gulliver. Horsfall has appeared in many television and film roles, including "Doctor Who", "Guns at Batasi", "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", "War Games", "Gandhi", "The Jewel in the Crown", "The Hound of the Baskervilles", "Braveheart" and in several other television serials. He died after a short illness in the Dr Mackinnon Memorial Hospital at Broadford on Isle of Skye.
