Frances Monteleone was born in New York on July 13, 1892. About 1910 she married Vito Rini, who was born on Dec 20, 1888 in Santa Margherita, Sicily, Italy. Vito and Frances had five children, all born in Brooklyn; Joseph J (1911), Leonard and Frank, twins, (1912), William (1913) and Ann Rini-Viviano (1921).

In the early fifties, Frances moved to Canoga Park where she lived with her daughter Ann (Angie) Viviano. Vito remained in New York. Frances died on July 17, 1966 in Canoga Park. Vito died in April, 1973 in Jamaica, Queens County, NY.

Frances had a great sense of humor and a direct manner of speaking. You never knew what to expect from her. It was always fun to be in her company.
