Also known as Rose Field Plantation
Will of John Gray, 1759 gives 800 acres along Aunt Sarah's Branch, life right to wife Anne, then to son William Gray if he reaches age 21.
The Will of William Gray 1801 he leaves his wife his plantation along Aunt Sarah's Branch, and a mention of Cashie Swamp, then his son John Gray 800 acres called Rosefield, presumably the same lands as first mentioned above!
This land has been continually in the Gray Family since land grant, however their are now Gillams & Others on the property as the daughters inherited & they married out, and the male lineage died out!
Their is an entire section of small eroded stones with no names, it is likely they belong to John Gray wife Anne, and some of the Gray children
( Amelia Gray Clark, sister Janet Gray Clark, married brothers, others, Polly, Penelope, George, Frances, Eleanor, Margaret, Ann Gray Blount) whom were named in Johns Will.
