I was born in Provost, Alberta, Canada and grew up on a family farm near Bodo, Alberta. I attended high school in Provost and then attended NAIT and the University of Alberta in Edmonton where I graduated in Geology in 1976. I worked for 31 years as a wellsite geologist and am now retired. My wife of 35 years is Loretta (Vogel) originally from Compeer area just south of Bodo. We have three sons, Benjamin, Matthew and Michael and live in Provost, Alberta.
