Franklin Gillette married Loise Rice in Boulder, Jefferson Co., Montana.
His death certificate was signed by his wife.
Frank Starr Gillette's father wasn't "C. S. Gillette". It was A. S. (Albertus Star) Gillette (B: 12-12-1822, Cortland, New York; D: 10-10-1896, Spokane, WA). The family lived in Clancy, Montana from about 1868-1885, before moving to Spokane, WA. Frank had five siblings.
Looks like several errors are on the death certificate. His mother, Harriet Eliza Osborne Gillette, was born in Farmington, Hartford Co, Connecticut (Dec. 25, 1822) and died on April 30, 1888 in Spokane, WA. She wasn't born in NY, Frank's father was born in NY. His father's initials on the death certificate appear to be a mistake (C.S.), rather than A. S., which is correct. This message is an addendum to a previous message about Frank's father.
