Funeral services will be held Monday, March 26, 2001, at 3 p.m. in Earles Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by McKenzie Funeral Home, will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Ackerman was born Oct. 25, 1975, in Georgetown County, a son of Ronald David Ackerman and Martha Mims Ackerman. He was a ladleman with Nucor Steel. He graduated from Andrews High School and attended the Earles Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his parents of Andrews; two sisters, Jessica A. Oldham and Whitney Ackerman, both of Andrews; paternal grandparents, Horace and Ozie Ackerman of Andrews; and maternal grandparents, Edison Legrand Mims Jr. and Carrie Nell Cook Mims
of Andrews.
