LORETTA S. CULLEY, 81, of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Memphis, homemaker, died of cancer Thursday at Community Hospital there. North/Meadowlawn Funeral Home in New Port Richey has charge. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, St. Thomas Aquinas Friendship Club, former Cub Scout den mother in Memphis and former member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Whitehaven. Mrs. Culley, the wife of Whelan Culley, also leaves two daughters, Marlia Garnese of Las Vegas and Patricia Barnett of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Dr. Whelan Culley III of Largo, Fla.; four sisters, Edith Travirca of Kissimmee, Fla., Joyce Castor of Gulfport, Miss., Mickey Rousseau of Memphis and Denie Fried of West Monroe, La.; a brother, Gerald Sportorno of St. Louis, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
