Dick Smith was an antenna installer, mechanic and appliance (washer dryer) service person. He live in Lakeside, El Cajon and Santee, CA where he died at his home of a heart attack. He married Kathryn and last Charlotte. He had three son's, Richard (Dickey), Roger and Ralph the youngest.
New information on Richard's mother and father. Romualdo (Romeo) Smith and Lydia Cesena. Sister's Florinda and Clorinda Smith. His grandfather was Marcelino Smith who died in 1913.
Update:In looking at the picture of Richard, Clorinda and Florinda -- only Florinda
died young. Clorinda later married my Uncle Frank Smith in Colton CA.
They were distant cousins, and had a son Raymond...all deceased and buried in Hermosa Cemetery in Colton.

On his grave maker they show J for middle initial I know from autopsy report it is R for Romeo
