Lena was the wife of Peter Kihm.

Their children were Clara, Charles, George, Clarence, Ida, Bertha and Peter.

Lena died at the age of 103 years and five months.

Mrs. Lena Kihm Dies at Age 103

Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida K. Richardson, Machias after an illness of three weeks. The centenarian, who had enjoyed health most of her long life, was born in Strykersville.
Her husband, Peter, a wagon maker and farmer, died in 1890, leaving her to raise a family of six children, one of whom was born after his death.
In recent years, Mrs. Kihm spent her winters in Machias and her summers with a son, Peter, in Strykersville.
She had recalled seeing recruits in the Strykersville area leave for service in the Civil War.
Survived by two other sons, Clarence of Glendale, L.I,. and Charles of Rochester. There are 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Daughter Clara Kihm died in Feb 1880 from congestion of the lungs at the age of 6 years.

Peter Kihm died in 1889. His sixth child was unborn at his passing.
