OWEN C. LEMMON

Owen C. Lemmon, 49, a former resident of the Walnut Grove and Morrisville communities, died at 2:45 p.m. yesterday in St. Mary's Hospital in Kansas City.

Mr. Lemmon was taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack while working as a garage mechanic for the Ames Dairy Company. He had been a resident of Kansas City for the past 12 years.

Surviving are his wife, Ila Mae; two sons, Leonard of Fort Scott, Kans., and Glenn, who is in the Navy at El Centro, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Sladen of Dearborn, Mich., and Miss Donna Lemmon of Morrisville; three brothers, Orville of Morrisville, and Ray and Wayne of Walnut Grove; and two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Metcalf, of Jet, Okla., and Mrs. Louie Peck of Helena, Okla.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Turkey Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Owen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Brian-Daniel of Walnut Grove.
