WHITEHOUSE - Services for Bobbie Cooper, 63, Whitehouse, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Stewart Family Funeral Home, Tyler, with the Rev. Walter Jones and Roy Cooper officiating.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Tyler.

Mrs. Cooper died April 22, 2007, in Tyler.

She was born June 7, 1943, in Tyler to Robert "Bob" and Louise Burns, and was a lifelong resident. She graduated in 1961 from Robert E. Lee High School and attended Federal Institute of Business School. She was a secretary for Squires, Johnson and Squires Accounting Firm for eight years, and then as an accounting clerk for Brookshire's Grocery Company for 15 years. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Burns.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Gerald Cooper, Whitehouse; mother, Louise Burns, Tyler; sister, Martha Burns Shepherd, Flint; one nephew; and four nieces.

Pallbearers are Darwin Stainback, Terry Cooper, Glen Wilkins, Robert Williams, Robert McClanahan, David Price, Joe Burns and Robert York.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

If desired, memorials may be made to Area Agency on Aging of East Texas, 3800 Stone Rd., Kilgore, 75662; or charity of choice.
