James was called Fidler Jim Sizemore. James and Mary Polly were married March 07, 1839, in Clay County, Kentucky by John Gilbert and John Sizemore as bondsman. James lived at Jake's Creek on Red Bird River in Clay County, Kentucky. His Post Office address was Spring Creek, Kentucky. His Occupation was listed as farmer. He had about twenty five Acers of cleared land. He lived within one half mile of Felix Guilbert and about six miles from James Marcum.
The 1990 Leslie County, Kentucky Census shows James and Matilda with there children living on Jake's Creek.
