Irma Elaine (Fox) Watkins, age 72, of Heath, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born November 23, 1951 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Chester Milton and Irma Elizabeth (Lavender) Fox.
Irma grew up in Buckeye Lake, Ohio & graduated with the Lakewood High School in Hebron, Class of 1971. She retired from Heritage Sportswear in Hebron where she was employed as a customer service representative. She was a member of Spring Hills Baptist Church in Granville. Irma enjoyed water aerobics at the YMCA, adult coloring, and trips to the beach. She was known for sending many greeting cards each year for birthdays and holidays.
She leaves a loving husband; brothers & a sister; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Irma will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Kirkpatrick officiating. Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.
