DORIS CLARK KEHS, of Williamsport, Md., formerly of FREEHOLD, died Friday, March 21, of natural causes, at the age of 95. Born in Bethlehem, Pa., Doris was married to the late Robert Stanley Kehs for almost 60 years. Doris and her husband Stanley owned Kehs' Liquor Store in downtown Freehold until 1974 when they retired to the Applewood Community. Doris attended the Julliard School of Music in New York City and was an accomplished pianist and continued to play until her early 90s. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Freehold and was a volunteer at the John L. Montgomery Nursing Home for many years.

She was predeceased by her only daughter, Barbara Marzulli Bates, in 2001. Doris is survived by her three granddaughters, Melissa Marzulli Cooke and her husband Bob of Sydney, Australia, Lynn Marzulli White and her husband Bill of Germantown, Md., and Cindy Marzulli Daly and her husband Randy of Rockville, Md.; six great-grandchildren, Megan Wilson, Kaylin Kula, Randy Daly, Jenny Daly, Jessica Daly and Kelsey Daly; and a great-great-grandson, Jake Wilson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the funeral service at noon at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main St., Freehold. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, Greater N.J. Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
