Ann Eliza was the daughter of George Lawler Handley and his wife Eliza (nee West).
When her brother George Handley opened his first small store in Southsea (Which became the famous Handleys Ltd store), Ann was his only assistant and in 1871 she was living with George and his family over the shop.
She married Frederick Joseph Page in Portsea in 1881.
They had 4 sons and one daughter.
One of their sons was Sir Frederick Handley Page the famous aircraft manufacturer.
Another son Herbert Joseph Page was killed in WW1
Their eldest son was Arthur John Page and his son was Alan Geoffrey Page DSO OBE DFC (known as Geoffrey). Geoffrey was an officer in the RAF, he was shot down during the Battle of Britain and badly burned and was a founding member of the Guinea Pig Club, he also founded the Battle of Britain Trust.
Their youngest son Theodore Stephen Page was a lawyer.
Their daughter Edith Hannah Page married Alexander MacIntosh.
