Mrs. Clarice L McPherrin of 361 Roswell Avenue died yesterday at her home after a brief illness. She was born in New Market, Iowa, and lived for a time in Colorado prior to coming to Long Beach In 1923. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church and belonged to the Womans City Club and William McKinley Auxiliary No. 27, United Spanish War Veterans Auxiliary.
She is survived by the widower. Ward B. McPherrin; a son, Stanley McPherrin, Long Beach; three daughters, Mrs. Maurine Bryce and Mrs. Ruth Thompson, both of Long Beach and Mrs. Mildred Robison, Glendale.
The funeral will be directed by J. J. Mottell, Inc.

McPherrin Funeral Held In L. B.
Last rites for Mrs. Clarice McPherrin, mother of Stan McPherrin, former Santa Ana merchant, were conducted this morning from the Mottell Mortuary, Long Beach. Interment was at the Sunny Side Mausoleum. Mrs. McPherrin passed away Wednesday evening following a stroke the night before. She had been prominent in the Women's City club of Long Beach, and the Spanish-American War veterans' auxiliary of the beach city. She is by survived by her husband, W. B. McPherrin and her son.
