Richard Lee Stewart, Sr., age 67, of Rutledge, GA, died Monday, January 4, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Madison, GA on August 23, 1953, he was the son of the late J. C. Stewart and Essie Ellis Stewart. Ricky attended Morgan County High School.
On May 28, 1993, he married the former Susi McNair of Greensboro and most recently they celebrated their twenty-seventh wedding anniversary. He was the owner and operator of Stewart’s Logging. Watching ball games and westerns were a favorite pastime. Ricky was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend and everyone will miss him dearly especially his grandchildren.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Susi Stewart of Rutledge, GA; sons, Richard Lee Stewart, Jr. (Nikki) of Newnan, GA and Robert Olsen (Cassie) of Mauk, GA; daughters, Brittany Ward (Cody) of Madison, GA, Brandy McNair (Edward) of Panama City, FL, Rebecca Stewart of Elberton, GA, Tina Silvey (Ronnie) of Maxeys, GA, Lisa Holcomb of Elberton, GA and Samantha Thompson (Justin) of Buckhead, GA; sister, Marilyn Reeves (Claude) of McComb, MS; adopted children, Mary Ann Mullins, Lilly Mullins and Nicholas Watkins (Mary) of Bogart, GA; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren along with many extended relatives and many friends.
Graveside Services will be held at Siloam Cemetery, Church Street, Siloam, GA 30665 with Rev. Robert Robinson officiating.
