She was born December 20, 1932 in Littleton, Colorado to Ben and Elizabeth (Degenhart) Spahn where she spent her childhood and attended school.
She married Edward Zaremba on December 29, 1979 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Shirley was a resident of Hotchkiss for 15 years after moving here from Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a member of the Elks Club #1807 Auxiliary in Hotchkiss. She collected music boxes and enjoyed sewing, knitting and playing horseshoes. She also enjoyed her 3 dogs.
She is survived by her husband Edward, her mother, Elizabeth Spahn of Englewood, Colorado, son Bryan & wife Debbie Schreiner of Littleton, Colorado, son Steve & wife Carol Schreiner of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, son Robin & wife Nancy Schreiner of Silt, Colorado, daughter Tammy & husband Danny Manchester of Hotchkiss, Colorado, 1 brother Ben & wife Elaine Spahn Jr. of Denver, Colorado, and 1 sister Maryann & husband Arlis Jones of Littleton, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ben Spahn Sr.
