August 15, 2020...Robert Stewart Trump, the youngest of New York City real estate developer Fred Trump's five children, passed earlier today. He was 71.

Robert Trump had retired to upstate New York where he was recognized as a philanthropist. He served as a trustee for Angels of Light, a non-profit organization that provides holiday gifts to children with life-threatening illnesses. Robert Trump also donated to a project called Patriots and Ponies, which provides equine-assisted pyschotherapy to veterans struggling with mental issues. ~ Newsweek

It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.

In addition to the Donald J. Trump, Robert Trump is survived by his two other living siblings: Maryanne Trump Barry, who retired as a federal appellate judge last year, and Elizabeth Trump Grau. Robert Trump remarried earlier this year.∼American Businessman. Born in Queens, New York City, to Fred and Mary Anne MacLeod Trump. He attended Boston University where he majored in economics, played soccer and was the MVP and team captain in 1969. Throughout his life, he joined his father's business and came to manage the Trump Organization's real estate holdings outside of Manhattan. Being employed as a real estate developer, Robert was the president of Trump Management. In 1990, brother Donald put him in charge of the Trump Taj Mahal. Since 1999, he served on the board of directors for ZeniMax Media and was also the company's investor. Robert died from an illness at New York Presbyterian Hospital. On August 21, 2020, President Trump arranged a private funeral service for Robert in the East Room of the White House with 150 attendees, marking it the first time in almost a century that a president had held a funeral in the East Room.
