Born in New York , Peter grew up in Barcelona, Spain with his late sister Teresa. He had an active upbringing with family, faith, education, sports and helping his father with his family business. He was the son of Bernardo Rodrigues Alonso and Rosa Molina Espinosa. Peter was a trailblazer and moved from Barcelona, Spain to Queens, New York as a teenager. He was determined to continue his education, attended New York University and earned both his Bachelor's '53 and Master's '55 Degrees in Business Administration.
