ROY – Tina Visser, 76, of Roy, Utah, passed away June 21, 2008 at her home in Roy. She was born Tryntja Koster on December 24, 1931 in Haarlem, Holland, to Adrianus and Johanna Koster. She was raised in Holland. Tina moved to Utah in 1952 where she met and married Bert Visser on October 27, 1956. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tina and Bert built a home in Roy where they raised five daughters and a son.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers and daughter Debra Visser. She is survived by her husband Bert Visser. One sister: Fijtje DenHertog of Den Hauge, Holland. Also surviving are her children Jane Johnson of Clinton, Jackie Ririe of Roy, Johanna and her husband William Graham of Roy, Wendy and her husband Samih Snounou of Clinton, and Roger Visser of North Ogden, thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be missed by friends and family in Holland and the U.S.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday June 25, 2008 at 2:00 pm., at the Roy City Cemetery 5200 South 2300 West. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity per Tina's wishes.
