Mrs. Minnie Harrison
Mrs. Minnie Lucille Harrison of Rt. 3, Newton, died at the family residence Sunday, June 5, 1977. She was born Oct. 2, 1897, in Ennis, Texas, and her parents were Mr. and Mrs. George Morris.
Mrs. Harrison was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church and the widow of Lonnie Lee Harrison.
She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn McMullan of Newton; two sons, Bobby Harrison of Meridian and Morris Harrison of Newton; there grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Will Griffin of Floydada, Texas; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral rites were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, at the Poplar Springs Church. The Rev. Bryce Evans and the Rev. E. L. Clark were officiants, and burial was in the family plot of the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
