A committal service and prayers for Adigia 'Louise' Schneider, 64, a resident of Jacksonville, Fla. for 10 years, formerly of Rolling Meadows for 30 years, will be held Monday, at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery Interment Chapel, Palatine. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m.
Born Jan. 2, 1933, in Stica, Kansas, she died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, in Jacksonville. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
A former member of St. Colette Catholic Church, she was a former store manager for Crawfords Department Store in Rolling Meadows.
Survivors include her daughter, Rita (Dean) Anderson of Carpentersville; sons, Bill (Pat) and Joe (Pam) both of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Brittany and Chad Anderson and Matthew and Nikki Schneider; brothers,
Hubert (Irene) Stegman of Tennessee and Roy Stegman of Florida; and sisters, Jeannette (Vernon) Dargel and Gladys Christensen both of Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert 'Smoke' Schneider in 1977; brother, Jerome Stegman; and sister, Sylvia Dargel.
