Maria Salvata Del Carlo ved. Triboli was the daughter of Sebastiano Del Carlo, victim of Titanic, and Argene Genovesi. She was born on November 14, 1912, so she didn't meet her father. Salvata ("saved" in English) was later married to Guido Triboli and they had two children: Sebastiano (who prececed her mother in death) and Sabatino. In the World War II, Salvata lost her home, destroyed during the barbaric allied bombing of Italy, but she managed to save the photo of her parents' wedding. The story of Salvata became famous in 1998, when she was interviewed by a lot of television networks and national newspapers. Salvata died on October 31, 2008 and was buried near her father.
