Member of the Ovitz family. Born the ninth child of Shimshon Eizik and his second wife Batia. he was born of average height. Shimshon was a dwarf or little person and Batia was of average height. Arie decided not to follow his mothers advice which was that no matter what they should always remain together as a family, this cost him his life. Arie was deported to a Hungarian labor camp. Along with eight of his friends they managed to escape but were detrayed by the owner of the farm that they were hiding on. They were all shot after being captured. Arie was married to Magda and they had a little girl who he never got to meet. Magda and her family were deported to Auschwitz and were sent to the gas chambers.
