UNION CITY--Services for Roscoe C. Shultz, 84, near Union City, who died Monday at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary, Indianapolis.
Born in Winchester where he resided until 1917 when he moved to Indianapolis, he had lived at his Union City residence since 1937. A member of Muncie Lodge 433, F & AM, Mr. Shultz was a retired building manager and engineer.
He was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis; the Kiwanis Club, Springfield, Ohio; the Building Owners and Manager Association, Dayton, Ohio, and Indianapolis, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Surviving are his wife, Grace H.; a son, Robert J., Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. James O. Batchelor, North Manchester, and Miss Leola Shultz, Warren; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the mortuary in Indianapolis after noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery, Muncie, where graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m.
