7 Dec 1961 Hempstead, Nassau, New York, USA Newsday (Nassau Edition) Obituary: Mrs Elizabeth Walter; at 57 Flower Hill — Services were held Tuesday for Mrs Elizabeth T Walter, 57, active in women's organizations, who died Saturday in Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, Manhattan. She lived at 511 Manhasset Woods Rd. She was president of the Protestant Service Organization for Creedmore State Hospital, Queens Village, and was past president of the Hollis Women's Club, the Mother's Club and the Kindergarten Mothers Club of Public School 134, Queens. She was also a member of the Long Island Federation of Women's Clubs. Mrs Walter had been president of the Women's League of the Hollis Presbyterian Church and was co-president of the Great Commission Fellowship and the Meridians. She is survived by two sons, William and John; her mother, Mrs Elizabeth Trump, and two brothers, Fred and John Trump. Services were held in the Fairchild Funeral Chapel, Manhasset, and burial followed Wednesday in Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington.
