She married to William Otto Walter on 16 Jun 1929, in Queens, New York. They had two sons:
- William T Walter (b. 1931)
- John Whitney Walter (1934-2018)
She was the only paternal aunt of former 45th U.S. President Donald John Trump.

She lived at 511 Manhasset Woods Rd. She was president of the Protestant Service Organization for Creedmore State Hospital, Queens Village, and was past president of the Hollis Women's Club, the Mother's Club and the Kindergarten Mothers Club of Public School 134, Queens. She was also a member of the Long Island Federation of Women's Clubs. Mrs Walter had been president of the Women's League of the Hollis Presbyterian Church and was co-president of the Great Commission Fellowship and the Meridians. She is survived by two sons, William and John; her mother, Mrs Elizabeth Trump, and two brothers, Fred and John Trump. Services were held in the Fairchild Funeral Chapel, Manhasset, and burial followed Wednesday in Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington.
