Stanley Vogel passed away at the Edmonton General Hospital at the age of 54. Stanley was born on July 12, 1958 at Consort, Alberta. He was the ninth child of Albert and Christina Vogel and raised on a farm north of Compeer, Alberta. After leaving the farm, Stanley spent his younger years at Mitchner Center in Red Deer. He then lived in the Robin Hood Homes in Sherwood Park. His home for the last 21 years was the Edmonton General Hospital where he had many friends among the staff and residents. Stanley was predeceased by his parents Christina and Albert Vogel and his older brother, Raymond He is survived by his brother, Aloys Vogel of Compeer; sisters, Mary Vogel of Edmonton, Doris and Dale Evans of Calgary , Gladys and Brian Healy of New Sarepta , Theresa and Blaine Kjorlien of Wetaskiwin , Loretta and Ben Scheck of Provost .
