KNOX -- Mrs. Sophie Sarnoski, 59, of 1502 John St., died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday in Starke Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. She was born Jan. 1, 1895 in Poland, and came here seven years ago from Chicago. In addition to her husband, Roy, she is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lottie Kroushl, Berwyn, Ill.; Mrs. Jean Drost and Mrs. Irene Koziol, Chicago; Mrs. Frances Wayne, Evergreen Park, Ill.; and Mrs. Stella Moss, Pasadena, Texas; four sons, Chester Krynski, Oak Park, Ill.; John and Edward Krynski, Chicago, and Peter Krynski, Knox; 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Stanley Milewski, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call in the Harry Price Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:40 p.m. CST today.
