HENRY H. GRENIER—Northfield—Henry H. Grenier, 63, of the East Roxbury Road, died Thursday night in the Mayo Memorial Nursing Home here. Born in Northfield, Oct. 16, 1920, he was son of Alexander and Rosalee (Lahale) Grenier. A lifelong Northfield resident, he was a self-employed master electrician. On Aug. 17, 1941, he married Olga Chase. On May 13, 1954, he married Romona Tuller Provost. On Oct. 11, 1975, he married Elizabeth Gilbert in Northfield. Besides his widow, he leaves a son, Henry L. Grenier, Barre; three daughters, Yvonne Gilbert, Monroe NH; Mrs. Bradley (Judith) Harvey, Bennington and Mrs. Charles (Serena) Newkirk, Derry NH; four stepchildren, James Provost, Michael Gilbert, Laura Gilbert and Genevieve Provost, all of Barre; six grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Grenier, Waterbury Center and John Grenier, Waterbury; five sisters, Loretta Pray, Barre; Mrs. Louis (Jeannette) Brassard and Irene Page, both of Northfield; Mrs. Leonard (Rosamae) Baker, Waterbury and Mrs. Floyd (Helen) Baker, Roxbury; nieces and nephews. Mr. Grenier was a long-time member of the Canadian Club of Barre. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church here by its pastor, the Rev. Gerard Brochu. Entombment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery vault pending committal in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kingston Funeral home here Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mayo Memorial Nursing Home, in care of Lorraine Day, 1 Richardson Ave., Northfield 05663.

Henry's second wife, Elizabeth Gilbert Grenier, is buried with her first husband Dean and daughter Laura, at Hope Cemetery in Barre, Vermont. She was buried there on May 8, 2018. Information from her son Michael Gilbert.
